Hey, I’m Jen your workshop host
I’ve been making content online for about 15 years and have been teaching other business women marketing strategies for about 10. Instagram is every midlife woman’s nemesis and I’m here to change that.
We never grew up with the tech, we don’t always find it intuitive and sharing ourselves online feels tough. Marketing your business online requires visibility and I’m going to help you feel confident and competent in the process.
I’ve had so many jobs in front of cameras, even on live TV – I guarantee there aren’t many tricks to doing it well, just practice so you feel less awkward.
We’ll start at the beginning. I’ll teach what you need to know (and don’t know you need) so it feels easier, less icky and more accessible.
But we won’t use any gimmicks, click bait headlines and definitely no dancing.
You’ll have fun, learn the app and necessary tools, feel competent, assured and excited to be consistent making content.
Spaces are limited so we have time to look at individual businesses. You’ll play and experiment, bust the jargon and leave feeling like you’ve taken a huge leap forward with Instagram and your business marketing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!
Is the workshop suitable for beginners?
Yes! You’ll benefit from having a pro or creator account already and be familiar with different types of posts like reels and carousels. We’ll be diving into making content, using hooks, understanding the alogrithm and generally planning your content schedule to suit you and your business. So some knowledge is beneficial.
Is the workshop suitable for more experienced Instagram users?
Yes. If you feel stuck in a rut with your content creation, struggle to stay consistent and need some up to date techniques that acknowledges your time, energy and business type – this will work for you. If you’re happy making content but feel it needs some new creativity, some of the workshop you’ll be familiar with but will benefit from the inspiration on the day.
Is the session inclusive?
Yes we aim to be accommodating of all neurotypes and if you’re menopausal. If you have specific adjustments please let us know and we will absolutely make the workshop accessible for you.
Is there parking?
The Barn has free on site parking and is about 15 minutes from Nottingham train station by taxi.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Just let us know when you book if you have any requirements, allergies or concerns re food and drink and we’ll accommodate them.
Do you offer refunds if I can't attend?
Once you’ve attended the course there are no refunds.
If you book and then can’t attend, please let us know as soon as you can.
We can offer a full refund upt0 to a week in advance and a 50% refund upto 48 hours before. No refunds can be given after this time.
