I’m Jen Stanbrook—an ICF Professional Coach, business mentor, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience running a thriving online business. Throughout my career, I’ve helped hundreds of women master marketing and mindset strategies to build successful, purpose-driven ventures.
But like many midlife women, I’ve faced the complex realities of balancing family, business, and personal health. From advocating for my wellbeing through menopause to supporting my autistic daughters, I’ve experienced firsthand the need for flexibility, resilience, and a business that adapts to life’s demands.

Do I have to attend every session live?
No, not at all. Formidable Us is designed to work around your life. All live sessions are recorded and saved in the For Us Library, so you can access them at a time that suits you.
I’m just starting my business. Is this right for me?
Absolutely. Whether you’re just starting out, growing, or pivoting, Formidable Us supports women at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey. Our holistic focus helps you thrive first—because when you’re thriving, your business can too.
What if I’m not sure how much time I can commit?
That’s perfectly fine! Formidable Us is a flexible membership. You can dip in and out as your schedule allows, accessing resources, sessions, and community support whenever you need them.
What does a week inside Formidable Us look like?
We are a truly flexible space and you can show up as much or as little as you need. Weekly we run one live session, have virtual coworking open if you’d like to use it, connect a few times a week on What’s App.
The Hub has recordings around AI and ChatGPT, Pricing, Blogging, Goal Planning, Mindset Coaching, Midlife Movement, and Content Creation.

How is this different from a course?
Formidable Us isn’t a course. It’s a dynamic, ongoing community focused on your personal and professional growth. We offer workshops, resources, and support tailored to you—there’s no rigid curriculum to follow.
Will the chat group be on Facebook?
No. We will 100% NOT be using Facebook for this community. Whilst we continue to use Meta to help market our businesses, where we can make other, more morally sound choices for things like chat groups, we will.
Our chat groups will be hosted on a specially built Formidable Us platform, which is a Membership.io space (in case you want to check it out). As part of the Founding Member rollout we may test a community group on What’s App too, but that will be decided amongst the members once we go live.
Can I join if I’m neurodivergent or supporting neurodivergent family members?
Yes! Formidable Us is an inclusive and understanding community. Many members are neurodivergent or supporting neurodivergent loved ones, and we recognise the unique strengths and challenges this can bring.
Are there extra charges for in-person events?
In-person events may occasionally have additional charges to cover costs like venue hire or catering. Any fees will always be communicated in advance, so you can decide whether to attend.
What kind of topics are covered in the workshops?
Workshops focus on both personal and professional growth. Topics range from business strategies, branding, and time management to hormone health, mindset, and thriving in midlife. This holistic approach ensures you have the tools and support to thrive in every area of your life.
Is Formidable Us an inclusive community?
Yes! Formidable Us is a safe and inclusive space for midlife women and AFAB non-binary individuals. Respect, understanding, and mutual support are at the heart of everything we do.
What if I change my mind?
We understand that circumstances can change. If you decide Formidable Us isn’t the right fit for you, you can request a refund within 14 days of your membership start date. Please note that refunds may not apply to specific one-off event charges.
